Artifact:
Mrs. Gibson's Online Classroom
Reflection:
This artifact is my Online Classroom that I use to communicate and collaborate with my students. This is an ongoing way of keep my students and parents up-to-date with what is going on in class.
I utilize my Online Classroom as a digital communication and collaboration tool to communicate locally and globally with students, parents, peers, and the larger community. My online classroom allows me to have a digital platform to communicate and collaborate with students, parents, peers, and the larger community. The blog feature of the online classroom is very versatile and allows me, as well as my students, to communicate and collaborate about different topics. I utilize the available tools to help my students communicate locally and globally by embedding Skype sessions and allowing my class to participate in Skype sessions with other classes and professionals all over the world. My Online Classroom is an incredible communication and collaboration tool.
This artifact is unique in the fact that it is still ongoing. Working with/in/on my Online Classroom creates a digital platform that allows my students and I to communicate and collaborate with each other and peers. Since this is an ongoing artifact, it is hard to say what i would do differently because I still can change and do things differently. However, I will continue to use this digital tool to communicate and collaborate with my students. I will look for new inventive ways to incorporate my Online classroom into my brick-and-mortar classroom.
My Online Classroom directly impacts student learning. Students go to my Online Classroom to get information, complete assignments, and work collaboratively to meet their learning objectives and standards.
