Artifact: Annotated Bibliography
Reflection:
This artifact is the annotated bibliography that I completed during ITEC 7470 helped to inform my capstone proposal.
The annotated bibliography shows my ability to pursue continual growth in knowledge and skills of current and emerging technologies. Not only did the information I find inform my proposal, it also helped me to learn more about current as well as emerging accessibility features available of an array of digital tools and resources that I can use with my students now. I will apply the knowledge and skills to improve personal productivity and professional practice. The information learned will and has already helped me to improve my professional practice as an educator. It will also help me show my students how to be more productive with the tools they have.
As an educator, I believe in continuous learning for teachers and students alike. I will continue to research current and emerging technologies so that I can provide the best for my students. If I had this experience to do over again, I would use a broader focus to ensure that I had all of the necessary information that would be relevant to my capstone.
This artifact will impact student learning and faculty development. The impact of this artifact can be assessed through students using accessibility features under the supervision of faculty. This artifact began my research for my capstone project and really propelled it forward. Students and faculty that are using accessibility features at Westside are a direct result of the research that began in this artifact.
